The area will become new homes for provincial and municipal governments and State-owned enterprise branch offices in Binhai New Area, enterprise headquarters and research centers.

Yujiapu Financial District has 122 land parcels and a total planning area of 3.86 square kilometers. The floor area of the district is 9.5 million square meters. The starting area contains 35 land parcels and has a planning area of 1 square kilometer, as well as a floor area of 3 million square meters.
