Auto events on parade in Jiading

During the F1 Pirelli Chinese Grand Prix, pavilions from all parts of Jiading will gather at the circuit to serve as a window to understand all aspects of the district.

The pavilions will hold interactive activities and exhibitions, such as an antique car show, the promotion of EVcard, a rental service of electric vehicles, the China Auto Salon Modified Car Show, as well as exhibitions on recreation vehicles and vehicle models.

The Jiading Tourism Bureau will showcase the district's rich tourism resources there.

Time: April 15 to 17

Venue: Water Square, Shanghai International Circuit

Some highlights are as follows:

1. F1 in China – Auto Racing Culture Exhibition

The Formula One World Championship has been held for 12 consecutive years at the Shanghai International Circuit, since it expanded presence in China in 2004. A F1 exhibition will be held at the Jiading Theme Park, to display photos, videos, and souvenirs of the event over the past decade.

2. Exhibitions on Vehicle Models

Exhibitions on models of cars and commercial vehicles will be launched at the Jiading Theme Park (main venue) and Jiading Library (sub-venue).

3. Driving EV • Touring Jiading

This is a new tourism product, which includes tickets to Jiading's scenic spots and one-day rental of electric vehicles from the EVcard project. Visitors who buy the product can tour Jiading by e-car.

Guyi Garden becomes digital scenic spot

Guyi Garden in Shanghai's Jiading district was recently rated as one of the 21 Shanghai digital scenic spots by the Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture and Tourism, local media outlets reported on Jan 19.
