The 2009 Hangzhou Life & Development International Forum ran in Feiyun Conference Hall of Xizi Hotel in Zhejiang's Hangzhou city on November 8-10, 2009.

Life & Development International Forum kicked off.

Forty experts from fields including civic engagement, Asian study and community development shared their research results and experience on the topics of leisure and development.

Over 40 experts attend the Forum.

Guests included Mr. Boudouin Lamie, administrator of Economic and Financial Affairs Directorate, Ms. Michel Schmiegelow, dean and professor at the Asian Studies Center of Belgium University of Louvain, and Mr. Terry L Cooper, director of civic engagement at the University of Southern California.

Mr Ye Ming, General Secretary of Hangzhou municipal goverment, made speech at the opening ceremony.

The forum was co-hosted by the Hangzhou municipal government and Zhejiang University.
