The fourth plenary meeting of the Pingtan Haixia Youth Entrepreneurship Association was held in Pingtan, Fujian province on Dec 31.

The meeting evaluated the association's operation status and achievements in 2016 and set up new goals for the upcoming year.

Lin Benshan, director of the Pingtan Haixia Youth Entrepreneurship Association, said as an important service platform for cross-Straits youth entrepreneurs, the association is exerting an increasing influence, and in the next year shall encourage all its members to get more involved in the city's economic development, realizing their own value.

A new financial product named the "entrepreneurship card" was debuted at the meeting as well. Jointly developed by the Pingtan Haixia Youth Entrepreneurship Association and Pingtan Rural Commercial Bank, it shall provide tailored financial support for the association's member companies in the future.
