An entrepreneur delegation from Taiwan paid a visit to Pingtan, Fujian province from Nov 7 to Nov 8 after attending the 2016 Cross-Straits Entrepreneurs Summit held in Xiamen.

The delegation, composed of the guests from Wing Fung Financial Group, Industrial Bank of Taiwan, CTBC Financial Holding Co, Yuanta Securities and Weijing Group, toured the Pingtan Planning Pavilion, Changjiang'ao Wind Power Farm, Beigang village and Taiwan Innovation Park.

The delegation guests also attended a symposium, and put forward a lot of useful suggestions concerning Pingtan's future development in the aspects of customs, finance, education and transportation after getting to know its industrial development and related preferential fiscal policies.

Zhang Zhaomin, Party chief of Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone, extended a warm welcome to the Taiwan guests.

He said, "With tremendous support from the central government, Pingtan has become a modernized city with a good infrastructure and a favorable business environment in recent years." He hopes more companies from both mainland and Taiwan will invest in Pingtan.
