Unemployed young people get trained in Pingtan

A total of 120 job-waiting young people from Beicuo town, Pingtan county of Fujian province were given a lecture on basic knowledge of e-commerce recently, local news portal ptnet.cn reported on Jan 6.

Local authorities said that most of the participants are migrant workers who were not educated enough and with no special skills. The authorities expected to help them master certain skills and become employed through such training activities.

An e-commerce expert was invited to teach the participants things such as online banking and electronic payment.

After the class, some young people said that they cherished such learning opportunities. It enables them to get new skills and help them find jobs. Some said that they expect to have more such learning activities in the future.
