FUZHOU, China, Nov. 22 (Xinhua) -- Fu'an International Cycling open kicked off on Sunday in Baiyun Mountain Geopark in southeastern China's Fujian Province, attracting 387 riders to compete in five groups.

Yang Bingyou from the Chinese Taipei club took one hour 55 minutes and 17 seconds to finish the 75km course and won the men's road race. Jin Ziwei of China won the men's 50km mountain biking.

Besides the two professional groups, Fu'an Open also has three amateur groups. The cycling tracks all lay in the tourism area of Baiyun Mountain Geopark.

Lin Xi, Chairman of Fujian Provincial Cycling Association, told Xinhua the race is held along the beautiful valley. The inclination and the curves are perfect for cycling.

"We hope the race will help people know more about the tourism attractions here and join the healthy lifestyle of riding bicycle," said Lin.

Baiyun Mountain is also a part of Ningde Geological Park, which was approved by UNESCO in 2010 as the 64th world geological park in the world.
