An anti-terrorist drill was held in a customs checkpoint in the Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone in Fujian province, on Nov 26.
In the simulation, four “gangsters” barged into a passenger hall of a “long-distance bus station”. They tossed gasoline bombs and hurt people with knives.
Security guards and special police on patrol shot down one target, and subdued another. The rest ran away using an SUV and knocked down people in a crowd.
The Public Security Bureau initiated an emergency plan and seized the two fugitives at a police point in Nianggong village.
The drill aims to enhance Pingtan’s capability of dealing with emergencies such as terrorist attacks, authorities say.
