AI medical image team settles down in Wenjiang

In recent years, health has become a chief concern for many people. Novuseeds Medtech, an advanced AI medical company, recently attracted a large number of visitors at an exhibition during Entrepreneurship and Innovation Week.
At present, the medical imaging industry has a market value of 100 billion yuan ($14.4 billion), which drives the development of the medical equipment manufacturing industry. In the field of digestive endoscopy, AI analysis for many common digestive tract diseases has achieved a 95 percent accuracy rate, said a person in charge at the exhibition.
Novuseeds Medtech started its AI medical research in Beijing in 2015 and was invited to set up a base in Chengdu Medical City in Wenjiang in 2017.
The research and development of digestive endoscopic imaging AI technology has been jointly carried out by West China Hospital of Sichuan University and Novuseeds Medtech.
The two sides established the West China Hospital-Novuseeds Medtech Medical Artificial Intelligence Research and Development Center to research digestive endoscopy, pathology, CT and MRI.
"We based out enterprise in Chengdu Medical City because of the strong medical scene here. Our team's technology and experience can work in tandem with West China Hospital's high quality medical data and clinical experts," a leader of Novuseeds Medtech said.
Based on data provided by West China Hospital, the West China Hospital- Novuseeds Medtech Medical Artificial Intelligence Research and Development Center will serve as a platform for technological innovation in industry, education and research.
