Ancient dwellings of the Chen family

Location: Swan village in Shou’an town

The dwellings were built by Chen Zongdian, a member of the Imperial Academy, and his son, Chen Dengjun, a famous scholar, in 1864 during the Qing Dynasty period (1644-1911). It is a cluster of buildings including residences, ancestral halls and gardens.
