Hotpot restaurant treats 180 dustmen

On Dec 4, a hotpot restaurant in Chengdu opened exclusively for nearly 200 dustmen and treated them with delicious food and drinks hoping to express gratitude for their hard work.

More than 180 garbage men in the community were invited. The restaurant prepared more than 100 kilograms of beef offal and different kinds of dishes for their coming.

After the meal, the waiters of the restaurant performed shows for their guests, who were so happy that they joined them singing and dancing.

"The dustmen are tired with such a huge workload. We want to warm their hearts in the cold winter and express our deep appreciation," said the manager of the hotpot restaurant. "Also, we hope that more restaurants, stores and organizations can join us and show care and gratitude to those who have been quietly contributing to the city’s development," he added.
