Chengdu to welcome business partners at EU-China Fair

The Ninth EU-China Business and Technology Cooperation Fair will take place from Oct 21 to Oct 23, Xinhuanet reported. 25 EU countries with more than 500 European guests will attend the Fair to exchange views with 31 delegations from different provinces in China, in order to boost the international development of the innovation industry cluster.
The Fair this year, themed “West-East Cooperation – A New Silk Road”, is one of the major parts of the Fifteenth Western China International Fair, which will focus on EU-China cooperation in energy conservation, new energy, new materials, modern agriculture, bio-pharmacy, general aviation, high-end equipment manufacturing, and information and communications technology.
The Second EU-China General Aviation Symposium will also be held at the Fair. Attendees will include the aviation management departments, general aviation industrial clusters, general aviation associations, and representatives of relevant enterprises from Austria, the Czech Republic, Spain, Italy and France.
2014 is the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and the Czech Republic. Its President, Milos Zeman, will lead a delegation of nearly 200 representatives to visit Chengdu, to discuss the settlement of a new consulate there and cooperation in all aspects with Sichuan province.
