Polish musicians to perform

The Polish Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra Sopot will perform in Beijing on Monday. Its repertoire will include Mozart's Eine kleine Nachtmusik KV 525 and Dvorak's Serenade For Strings In E Major. Founded in 1982 by Polish conductor Wojciech Rajski, the 19-member string orchestra has recorded more than 60 CDs and performs about 100 concerts every year.

Swiss singer on tour

Swiss singer-songwriter Bastian Baker is set to launch his first tour of China, where he will visit Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. The 25-year-old first attained fame in 2011 with his first single, Lucky. He has so far released three albums, including Tomorrow May Not Be Better, Too Old to Die Young and his latest, Facing Canyons.

Cantonese stars plan concert

Two of Cantonese music's biggest stars, Hacken Lee and Joey Yung, will perform together in Beijing, showcasing some of their best-known hits and new works. Both the 35-year-old Yung and the 48-year-old Lee are award-winning singer-actors, and their albums have sold millions of copies across Asia. They first held a joint concert a decade ago in Hong Kong.
