More jobs at Sichuan agribusiness firm

Sichuan New Hope Agribusiness Co Ltd, the Shenzhen-listed arm of New Hope Group, expects an increase in domestic-driven earnings this year.

The company plans to recruit 5,000 new workers this year despite the worsening global financial crisis, Liu Yonghao, chairman of the group told China Daily on March 4 on the sidelines of the annual session of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).

Focusing in agriculture, the company's business is largely driven by domestic demand, Liu said.
