Tsinghua Holdings' chairman, Xu Jinhong said that Tsinghua is now facing new opportunities along with difficulties. It should focus on technology and product innovation in response to global competition. Xu shared his opinions on current topics, including the company's strategic goals and reform, its ''Star Aggregation'' plan and ''Footstone'' plan, cooperation between Tsinghua enterprises, corporate culture and branding. He put forward a new five-year plan (2017-2021) and asked the staff to keep learning and expand the horizon, to rise to the new challenge with open minds.
