Tsinghua Holdings seminar emphasizes targets and innovation

Cheng Jianping, deputy president of Tsinghua University, praised Tsinghua’s achievements and encouraged Tsinghua's employees to keep moving forward. He pointed out that Tsinghua must follow the instruction in Chairman Xi Jinping's congratulatory letter to Tsinghua University requiring enterprises to continue to implement the national innovation strategy. Tsinghua is not only a leading Chinese university but also plays an important role in Chinese high-tech industries. Therefore, it is responsible for the country's scientific research, innovative development and economic growth. Cheng added that at the same time, Tsinghua must obey the law and its leaders must be honest and upright, to make greater progress with no remorse.
