NEW DELHI -  Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi Friday made a radio address to the nation in a bid to reach out to millions of people on the occasion of the Hindu festival of Dusshera.

"We have to understand ourselves better and integrate our strengths. We are not lacking in strength," said the prime minister.

He said that "specially abled children are the responsibility of the whole society." "I urge people to share details of inspiring incidents. I will share them with the country," he said.

Modi will be holding such radio programs every Sunday.
