KIEV - Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko on Monday visited the southeastern city of Mariupol and vowed that "we will not give up this land to anyone," according to media reports.

Mariupol, an Azov Sea port town that has been under control of government forces, came under heavy attack recently from independence-seeking insurgents.
