LONDON -- Kate, wife of Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge, is pregnant with her second baby, the British royalty announced Monday.
The couple are "very pleased" to announce the news, and "the Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news," Clarence House said in a statement.
As with her first pregnancy, Kate is suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum, and will not accompany Prince William on their planned engagement in Oxford on Monday, according to the statement.
Kate is being treated by doctors at Kensington Palace, it added.
