Royals who have visited China

King of Saudi Arabia Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz paid a three-day state visit to China in January 2006. The two sides signed a protocol on bilateral cooperation in petroleum, natural gas and minerals, as well as several other cooperative documents concerning economy and the training of professionals.

Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud visited China in March, 2014. In a joint communique issued by both countries, the two sides pledged to strengthen cooperation in areas such as energy, trade, mineral resources, investment and infrastructure building, as well as in high-tech fields, including aerospace and the peaceful use of nuclear power.

Jordanian King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein visited China in September last year. He attended the China-Arab State Expo in Yinchuan, capital of Northwest China's Ningxia Hui autonomous region during his trip.

The United Arab Emirates' Princess Sheikha Maitha Mohammed Rashid Al-Maktoum attended a training camp in Beijing with members of Chinese taekwondo squad and competed in the taekwondo under-67 kilogram category at the Beijing Olympics.
