ROK to prepare for reunification with DPRK
Two Koreas hold 1st family reunion in 3 years

SEOUL - The Republic of Korea's President Park Geun-hye said Tuesday that she will set up a presidential advisory body to prepare for reunification with the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK).

Park made the remarks at her press conference marking the first anniversary of her inauguration at the presidential office of Cheong Wa Dae.

Park underscored the need to prepare for future reunification with the DPRK to open a new era of peace on the Korean Peninsula, citing the reunited Germany.

The president vowed to expand exchanges between the two Koreas, saying that discussions on the new reunification era will be encouraged among people of all ranks and classes.
