BANGKOK -- Pojamarn Shinawatra, wife of Thailand's ousted prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra will return to Thailand on Tuesday, local media reported on Monday.

Pojamarn is scheduled to arrive at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport from Hong Kong at about 08:15 am local time (0115 GMT) on Tuesday, a police source was quoted by local news network The Nation as saying.

"She is expected to face arrest as a court has issued an arrest warrant for her and her husband on an alleged abuse of power during Thaksin was acting prime minister," the report said.

Earlier, a prosecutor of the Office of the Attorney General (OAG) said that they will not hesitate to arrest former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra and his wife as soon as they arrives in Thailand.

Thaksin, the former premier who was ousted from the Government House during a military coup on September 19, 2006, is facing criminal charges on a land deal and other dozens of cases. Thanksin said recently that he will return to Thailand during February to April next year.
