United States expatriates are gearing up for Thanksgiving, but you don't have to be from the US to enjoy a festive feast. Xu Junqian investigates the best places in Shanghai to indulge in a turkey dinner.
There won't be a Thanksgiving Day parade, and the Black Friday sales are unlikely to happen. But if you are looking for a feast to celebrate the United States tradition, then you will not be disappointed – Shanghai never misses an excuse to celebrate.
We've have found out everything you need to know about the turkeys served up by some of the most prestigious restaurants and chefs in town.

What's good about it: The turkey, which is offered with two sauces (giblet gravy and cranberry compote), is brined in citrus and herbs for two days, air dried for one day and cooked to order. There is also a turkey set with six side dishes and one pumpkin pie available for takeout (1,788 yuan).
