Selfies are everywhere on the Internet these days, as the popular way of expressing ourselves has become ubiquitous. Zhang Yimou, current advertising film director of Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games Bid, said he wants to use the nation's collected selfies in his advertising trailer, reported sports.qq.com.
Praising the way people take selfies to express themselves, he said, "Sometimes I am amazed by what people can do with their self-taken photos or videos. Some of the photos or videos are very unique and innovative, and are even better than the professional's".
Zhang said he will collect the works shot by everyday people and edit the bestto create a unique trailer. "I wish everybody could participate and enjoy the Olympics," he added.
