A Cross-Straits Tea Expo will be held in Wuyishan city, Fujian province, from Nov 16 to 18.
The exhibition will host 1,287 booths that will cover various products related to the tea industry, from the actual leaves to tea-testing instruments. More than 100 Taiwan enterprises will take part in the expo, the eighth such event.
A tea culture festival featuring tea-making, forums on the development of tea tourism and the historic China-Russia tea trade route will also be staged during the event.
Named after Wuyi Mountain, a UNESCO World Heritage site, the city is the cradle of many famous black teas.
