Top Sichuan political advisor sacked

BEIJING - Li Chongxi, top political advisor in Southwest China's Sichuan province, has been removed from his post for suspected severe violations of disciplines, the Party's organization department said Thursday.
Li had served as chairman of the Sichuan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
Authorities are investigating into his case according to the procedure, said a statement of the Organization Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee.
