One Chinese killed in Nairobi attack, child injured

NAIROBI - A Chinese businessman confirmed to Xinhua on Sunday that his friend, a female Chinese, was killed, and her child injured in the attack at the upscale shopping mall in Kenya's capital city Nairobi on Saturday.

The child is currently receiving treatment in hospital, said the businessman named Wang Cuo who works in Kenya. The Chinese Embassy in Kenya has not confirmed the death.
