NANJING - Two were injured and three others buried on Tuesday after a lab explosion in Nanjing, capital of East China's Jiangsu province, local authorities said.
The explosion took place at around 9 am in a laboratory in Nanjing University of Science and Technology, toppling down the lab and shattering windows of houses nearby, according to the city's fire department.Rescue work was underway, and the cause of the explosion is being investigated, local police said.
