Cao is a yuesao who serves as a live-in postpartum care worker for the mom and the newborn, has been in this industry for 8 years. As a senior yuesao, Cao's salary is more than 10,000 yuan ($1,534) per month now. Last year, she was hired by Mr Chen to take care of his wife and second baby in Chengdu, Southwest China's Sichuan province.
