China builds 57-story skyscraper in just 19 days
Internet users are worried about the breakneck pace of the construction of a 200-meter skyscraper finished in only 19 days. The 57-story building, located in Changsha city, capital of Central China's Hunan province, is set to house 4,000 workers and 800 households, as well several offices and shopping malls.
The builder, a Hunan-based subsidiary of the Broad Group, explained they used the 'prefabrication' technique in which blocks of the building are constructed offsite and then pieced together.
