Chongqing girl sick of dates

A Chongqing girl who was forced to go on blind dates for four years reportedly resorted to seeking medical help as she was sick of trying to find the right man, Chongqing Evening News reported Sunday.

The 28-year-old girl identified by her alias, Xiao Ling, saw 28 different men arranged by parents and friends since 2011.

She gradually realized that such spouse-hunting encounters won't help her find true love, but couldn't refuse her parents, and some warm-hearted well-wishers who were eager to help her. They tried to convince her that an unmarried woman over 30 is considered a left-over.

Xiao Ling said she became so anxious before such dates that she started feeling nauseous and even had to seek medical help.
