Soy souce marks Spring Festival
People across China celebrate Spring Festival in different ways, but residents in Zhenjiang, East China's Jiangsu province, mark the Chinese lunar New Year in a special way.
More than 5,000 in Zhenjiang queued in front of a temporary stall set up by a time-honored condiment enterprise to buy soy sauce on Sunday, chinanews.com reported.
It is reportedly a 20-year-old tradition for the locals to buy soy souce before the Spring Festival. The stall will remain open from Feb 8 to 16 with more than 20,000 customers expected.
