Photographic attendance taking
Calling the roll-call is so old school. Instead of taking attendance the traditional way, a teacher at Central China Normal University in Wuhan takes a photo of his class every day to monitor attendance, chinanews.com reported.
Meng Xiangbin, who teaches press photography, takes pictures before and after class, to see who is late, who left early and who is absent.
Some students said it made them feel uncomfortable, while some say they prefer this method as calling the roll before class was time consuming.
