$80m voluntarily returned to bank
Few can resist the temptation of millions of dollars falling into their hands for free, especially when it is the pennies from heaven. A woman in Nanchong, East China's Jiangsu province, has been proved to be an exception.
About 496 million yuan ($80 million) was deposited to her bank account at around 11:00 am on Dec 11, and was voluntarily returned that very afternoon, cnncw.cn reported on Friday.
Wu Ping, who is 51-year-old, said she earns 3,000 yuan per month, and realized the money was not hers the moment she received it.
She said she was not completely indifferent to the cash. But it was not hers and she "can not and dare not to touch it".
