Buffet binge ends with 20,000 yuan medical fee
A 24-year-old man in Wuhai city, Hubei province went on a food binge at a buffet, trying to eat as much food as he could for the 99 yuan ($16) he had paid, but ended up with acute pancreatitis which cost him more than 20,000 yuan for a fortnight's hospital treatment, reported People Television.
He ate more than 20 plates of seafood and meat and some ice cream in just two hours, amazing his colleagues, but his body rejected the excessive food causing serious illness.
