Located in the western part of Jianyang city, Sichuan province, the Longquan Lake is a scenic spot 38 kilometers away from Chengdu, in Southwest China's Sichuan province.
Longquan Lake's exterior extends from the Shipan Reservoir main dam and No.5 island. It consists of ten scenic spots including the neighboring Shipanpu, Shijing Temple and satellite recovery landing site.
The area is 51 square kilometers of land and 55 square kilometers of water. The lake shoreline stretches for 54 kilometers. The scenic area has 26 islets and peninsulas.
Longquan Lake takes the shape of a tadpole with a 5,880 meter long tail. Lined with fantastic rock peaks and steep hills on both shores, the lake is a beautiful sight to see.
