Yan Mingzhong, 68, from Changchun, Northeast China's Jilin province, exercises for two-and-a-half hours daily with homemade fitness equipment, and has been working out for 15 years.
Yan put pieces of iron and stones into rice sacks making a dumbbell set weighing 50 kilograms and lifts the weights 40 times a day. Yan hits a sandbag, which is made from sand and old clothes and weighs 15 kg, 800 times a day. He works on arm strength with iron weights weighing 5 kg and exercises with iron weights and a hammer 400 times daily. Finally does push-ups on three wooden stools 200 times a day.
