China's world No 7-ranked Feng Shanshan headlines a provisional squad of 15 female golfers for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
The Olympic tournament will be divided into men's and women's competitions of 60 players each, chosen for the 72-hole stroke-play tournaments on the basis of world rankings.
The top 15 players in the standings (PGA and LPGA) will qualify automatically, with a maximum of four players per country and region.
As it stands - more than two years ahead of the Games in August 2016 - only Feng would qualify from China.
However, a "confident' Chinese camp believes some of the country's promising professionals and fast-improving amateurs could challenge for a berth.
Joining Feng on th women's squad: Tian Hong, Guo Caizhu, Zhang Na, Yan Jing, Lin Xiyu, Shi Xiaoying, Yan Panpan, Ye Liying, Wang Xin, Feng Simin, Zhang Yuyang, Zhang Weiwei, Li Jiayun and Shang Linyan.
The men's squad is expected to be announced later this year.
