The intelligent ski-waxing truck made by Sinotruk won an innovation award at the 2021 China Commercial Vehicle Innovation Awards on Dec 10.
The ski-waxing truck was created for Team China to be used at the Beijing 2022 Winter Games. The truck consists of a main vehicle, an auxiliary vehicle, and a spare traction locomotive. The truck provides waxing, storage, and space for athletes to relax as well as a bathroom and a warm-up area.
The truck is Sinotruk's latest achievement, and boasts the world's lowest wind drag for trucks of the same caliber. It also has taken the lead globally in terms of reliability, fuel efficiency, comfort, and handling.
