The Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) in Suzhou, East China's Jiangsu province unveiled its "2020 Innovative Action to Optimize the Business Environment in SIP" on July 14, in a move to enhance reform in business and administration.
The action plan focuses on the development needs of enterprises and the optimization of government services, laying out a clear schedule for a set of reform measures. According to the schedule, the service flow should be simplified to improve the efficiency of administration; the quality of services for routine matters should be improved to facilitate the efficiency of business operations; government services should be integrated and streamlined through modern information technology; a fair and just market environment and safe and stable production environment should be ensured; and an environment for innovation and entrepreneurship should be built to enhance research and development. In addition, over 100 reform measures are being pioneered across the country.
