Kolerwheel, an intelligent technology company in the city of Wuxi recently announced its new wearable electric bike -- the world's first -- as a refreshing, easy solution to the traffic jam problem in today’s busy urban life.
The 'Douna Series K1’ weighs just 9.8 kilograms and can be folded into a space the size of two A4 paper sheets with just four easy steps. So it can be easily carried around in, say, a backpack. And, the owner can use GPS to locate the bike through a smartphone APP.
Le Zheng, one of the founders of Kolerwheel, says they spent 12 years of painstaking work, with repeated product failures, to come up with this design so they could market it.
