Tang San Cai

Tang San Cai is a popular kind of pottery from the Tang Dynasty (AD 618-907) glazed in yellow, white and green. People came to refer to this type of pottery as Tang San Cai, meaning “the tri-colored glazed pottery of Tang”. It was invented more than 1,300 years ago and is regarded as one of the masterpieces of Chinese ceramic art.
