With red lanterns dangling along the road and the aroma of rice wine wafting in the air, the Spring Festival atmosphere has begun to spread in Guzhu village in Mashan town, Wuxi.
You can see steam curling and rising from yards as villagers are busy making food such as glutinous tuanzi (traditional flavored dumplings) and rice wine for the upcoming Spring Festival (falling on Feb 8 this year). The ever-welcoming villagers often invite visitors to have a taste of their home-made tuanzi made from an assortment of different fillings.
