As an extension of the China-Eurasia Expo, the 2015 Eurasia Commodity and Trade Expo will be a highly practical and professional one, boasting leading commodities from Xinjiang and Eurasian countries, according to the organizing committee of the EACT Expo.
As the primary part of the EACT Expo, the textile and garment exhibition is seen as a platform for the integration of Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region and the inland areas of the country. Leading enterprises from Zhejiang, Fujian and Jiangsu provinces, among others, will be present.
All the cities and prefectures in Xinjiang have confirmed their participation in the agricultural products and foods exhibition. As a major agricultural base in China, Xinjiang is endowed with incomparable agricultural products, especially fruit.
Over 60 leading wine enterprises will be presenting Xinjiang specialties including grape wines, pomegranate wines and Jujube wines. Appreciation activities, forums, new product release and tours will also be organized.
Located at the golden belt for grape cultivation, like world-famous chateaus including Napa Valley, Bordeaux and Burgundy, Xinjiang is the biggest bulk wine hub in China.
Various kinds of jade products made of gobi jade, agate jade and golden silk jade are also expected to attract visitors. Renowned both at home and abroad, rare Xinjiang jade is a prime investment target. Hetian jade, named after its production area, it is a leading brand of nephrite jade in China.
In all, 19 provinces and municipalities that have established cooperation with Xinjiang, including Beijing, Tianjin, and Shanghai, will also attend the expo.
At the same time, the overseas exquisite products exhibition is expected to be a highlight of the EACT Expo reflecting its internationalization, branding, specialization and high-end orientation.
As of mid-June, 30 countries and regions had confirmed their participation in the EACT Expo. At present, it is hard to get a booth in the fiercely-competed exhibition area.
The trade and investment promotion agencies from other countries and regions will also be invited to jointly host the exhibition.
