Ancient towns
With a history of more than 3,000 years, Wuxi has carefully preserved its traditional culture as a visit to such ancient towns as the Huishan Ancient Town and the Ancient Town of Dangkou could easily prove, not to mention it would provide a wonderful experience.
Located at the foot of the Huishan Mountain, Huishan Ancient Town boasts impressive architecture, elegant environment and ancestral halls with the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal running through it.
As much as its natural beauty, the Ancient Town of Dangkou is also famous for its piety culture passed down from the Eastern Han Dynasty.
