April 22-25: Final for members of Chinese Table Tennis Association at the Suzhou Sports Center. Winners will have chance to play against athletes of the Chinese delegation.
April 23-25: The 14th Sports Science Congress of the International Table Tennis Federation at Soochow University, where 170 table tennis science experts from both China and abroad will discuss the sport.
April 26: The Championships will see several multinational pairs, led by Ma Long and Timo Boll. They will make debut on the first day of the tournament.
April 26-May 3: The ITTF is displaying over 100 table tennis exhibitions to draw attention to the sport and promote table tennis activities.
On the same day, the Suzhou committee is also organizing a sport culture exhibition that will display works by Suzhou residents such as embroidery products, nut carvings and old photos of table tennis memories.
April 28-May 3: Several Chinese table tennis champions are to gather in Suzhou to promote the sport.
