Lupines, a kind of flower symbolizing mother's love in China, are in full blossom at the Turtle Head Peninsula Resort, or Yuantouzhu, in Wuxi, Jiangsu province, with more than 5,000 plants presenting a picture of multihued blossoms and fragrant air. The flower show will run through May 10, the Mother’s Day in 2015.
The organizers will invite some children from poor families as well as some lonely elderly to visit the park and enjoy the flower show. They will hold a children painting competition and auction the winning paintings and some bonsais to raise money for children in poverty-stricken regions.
