A group of 20 foreigners from different countries including the US, Russia and Italy enjoyed walking among a sea of tulips, seeing elks in a nature reserve and visiting local industrial parks and villages in Dafeng, a county-level city of Yancheng, during their 2-day trip themed "Foreigners' view of Jiangsu".
"I have come to Nanjing, for I know it is a historical city. I want to familiarize myself with the culture of Nanjing and other cities in Jiangsu, and this trip is a great chance for me," said Sticconi Filippo from Italy.
At an exhibition hall of the Holland Sea of Flowers that houses a tulip park and flower market, foreigners showed great interest in learning the sculpture porcelain, a kind of "embroidery" on porcelain, a Chinese national art treasure.
