From Linchang Station all the way to East Mozhou Road Station, Nanjing Metro Line 3 started trial operation at 6 am on March 1.
The turquoise trains of Line 3 start operation at 6 am and stop at 7 pm. A total of 15 trains were put into operation on the first day. More trains will be launched from Mar 5 to Mar 29, with a maximum of 25 trains per day, said Pei Shunxin, chief engineer of Nanjing Metro Construction Company.
The simulated operation schedule for Line 3 will be changed to from 6 am to 11 pm from Mar 5, which will be the official operation hours of Line 3 after it officially starts service.
Line 3 is expected to start service from between Mar 30 and Apr 10, according to the subway operator.
