Skytrax, the world renowned air travel rating and review institution, published its new rating list on Feb 19. Terminal 2 of Hongqiao Airport in Shanghai was recognized as a "Five-Star Terminal", making Hongqiao the first airport in China to win the title. Changi Airport in Singapore, Incheon International Airport in South Korea and Hong Kong International Airport are also on the list.

Ratings were made after a series of evaluations among 200 airlines and 390 airports around the world. More than 12 million passengers from more than 100 countries are involved in the survey.

Hongqiao Airport led the evaluation in aspects such as environment, trolley service, flight information, wireless network, public phones, toilets, smoking rooms, shopping and dining.
